About Dalslänningen

Dalslänningen is the morning newspaper for Bengtsfors, Dals-Eds, and Färgelanda. We have local newsrooms in all our coverage municipalities. We have a clear digital focus, and the website and app are updated around the clock, year-round. We also have a printed newspaper that comes out twice a week.

Dalslänningen is part of Erna Media AB, a company within the Erna Group. Within the group, we operate in local journalism, marketing, distribution, and property management. We are located in Skaraborg, Dalsland, and Värmland.

The core of our operations is based on our societal mission to strengthen democracy and serve as defenders of independent journalism. We contribute to an inclusive society where everyone can participate. Our strongest sustainability tool is journalism, where our editorial teams work daily to cover and engage in issues related to freedom of expression and other sustainability-related matters.

About the role

We are looking for reporters for our newsrooms in Dalsland. As a reporter at Dalslänningen, you will alternately work with hard news events and stories that touch on the lives of people in Dalsland. You have great freedom to pitch your own ideas.

Being a reporter at a local newspaper is by far the best school for a career in journalism. At Dalslänningen, you will receive continuous feedback on your writing, giving you the opportunity to grow further in your role. With us, you will also have the chance to do it all.

About you

You are studying or have studied journalism or have experience in the journalistic craft. You are creative and used to taking responsibility. You are naturally digital. A driver's license is required.
